From My Pieced Alphabet :

Highway 1A

Sometime ago, I created an alphabet that I call Crowchild Trail. It is a simple modern stencil alphabet. Looking at it I wondered, what if I fill the gap with colored fabric?

The result is a new alphabet. One that is a little less utilitarian and a little more decorative.

If you ever come to Calgary, you'll find that Crowchild Trail becomes Highway 1A when it leaves the city. It seemed eminently logical, therefore, to call this new alphabet Highway 1A.

For examples of other alphabets go to My Posts by Subject in the sidebar on the right and click on Lettering.
